We had always heard great things about Good Old Days and their French onion pizza specifically, but WOW. We were beyond impressed! I think it’s great that they have a more limited menu focused on the pizza so that they can master what they do well. Loved the vibe - it was cozy but eclectic. Staff was great! We warmed up here after a night at the igloos at the nearby winery, so it really hit the spot. We’ll be back because the French onion is in the top 5 best speciality pizzas I’ve had in CT!

Got the Bikini Bod. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The combination of the ricotta and sesame seeds and honey almost give a bagel flavor and the crust is absolutely perfect, crispy and crunchy in all the right places.

My new favorite pizza place! Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend.

I have to say pizza was great. Sauce tasty, still crisp, dough nice. Got the thin cheese pizza. I was 30 minutes late picking it up. Wish I had been there on time. Cool little place inside as well. I will be back.

Great little spot with amazing pizza and salads. Not to mention their homemade desserts! This little place has it all! We were not disappointed one bit! Don't be afraid to try their 'weird' sounding pies! That French Onion square pie was the hit from our group! My favorite was the Heat of the Moment. All was delicious! Get there early. They get pretty packed!

Such a cool place! I ordered the French Onion pie, which was very good! All their pizzas are pan pizzas, which I absolutely love (don't get me wrong, NH-style is great but not superior to any other pizza style). I had a chance to talk to the pizza guys, who were very kind and fielded a bunch of my weird questions about their ovens, prep, etc. The atmosphere was really cool - a neat place to hangout with friends. It has the same kind of dark cozy atmosphere as the Dew Drop Inn in Derby, if you're familiar. Highly recomended!!

This was a surprising gem I found by accident. I literally pulled in their parking lot just to make a U-turn and saw the inconspicuous entrance. As soon as I walked in, I felt the atmosphere of never wanting to leave. Very warm atmosphere with decorations of the 80s and 90s to bring me back to my late teens and hanging out with my friends parent's basement. Had the La La Land pizza, which was quite unique with the vodka sauce and fresh basil. If I actually live in the area, this would be my weekend hangout!!

Been back here a few times and it is AWESOME! Because - they have Sicilian style (square, thick crust) and crunchy, which is uncommon. I grew up in NYC and while you could certainly find this style, it typically did not have crispy crust. The toppings and flavors are delicious. In the photo, you will see their really cool ricotta kisses - a treat for the eyes and palate. Their cocktail program is among the best we've encountered. There are few places that combine outstanding pizza with killer mixology - G.O.D. does the spirit world justice! One of the photos shows the G.O.D.s mai tai 3.0 - cachaca & mezcal - are you kidding?! Desert - House-made choco-taco, dipped in dark chocolate. Oh yeah! The only comment I have for the owners: Friday night, there was a duet playing which is a great add to an evening but the din was deafening! The place was packed and with the music, it was impossible to carry on a conversation. The acoustics are hard - below grade with plenty of hard, reflective surfaces. Would be even more awesome with some absorption/diffuser panels tacked up.
